How to log into your MyOP learner portal.
To log in enter your Open Polytechnic email, for example, FirstnameLastname@myop.ac.nz (Note, there is no "." between your first and last name, and some email addresses may use numbers).
Open Polytechnic learners
New learners
The first time you log in:
- Use the temporary password in the ‘Username and log in details’ we sent you when you first enrolled.
- You will then need to create a new password, set up Multi-factor Authentication and password reset options.
Returning learners
Use the password you used the last time you logged in. If you don’t remember it you may be able to reset it yourself:
If you have not set up Multi-Factor Authentication you will need to do so when you log in.

Te Rito Maioha students and staff

Students – Your username is your Te Rito Maioha student email address, e.g. S999999@ecnz.ac.nz
- Staff – Your username is your Te Rito Maioha staff email address, e.g. Firstname.Lastname@ecnz.ac.nz.

Open Polytechnic students
Enter your student ID to recover your username. This will be sent to your preferred email address. If you use your My Open Polytechnic email as your preferred email, you need to contact us to recover your username.
Te Rito Maioha students
Contact the Library and Learning Centre to get your username resent to you.
